The King Pine Ambassador Program is designed
to help our guests get the most out of their King Pine & Purity Spring Resort experience.
The Program was developed to provide valuable information to guests during their visit.
Ambassadors are essentially the “face and voice” of King Pine and Purity Spring Resort.
In exchange, ambassadors are "paid" with a King Pine Season Pass (or Mill membership) for themselves or a family member.
The Ambassador Program is a service-based program, and while specific duties may change depending on the needs of the particular day, almost all duties involve interacting with and helping guests.
For example, approximately 1/3 of your "shift" (all shifts last 5 hours) will be spent around the base lodge, 1/3 will be spent inside the base lodge, and 1/3 will be spent out on the mountain (yes, skiing!).
A sample of Ambassadors duties
throughout the season:
- Greet guests in the parking lot to help with equipment and to answer questions about the resort.
- Work the Skier Services area to help guests decide with tickets, rentals and/or ski school information.
- Work in the base lodge in the morning, help keep the lodge in order, discuss snow conditions with guests, tell them about any events that might be happening.
- Help in the rental shop during busy times, handing out equipment, directing traffic, etc.
- Get out and ski! You need to know the product that you're selling. Ride the lifts with guests, find out how their day is going.
- Help the lift attendants check tickets in the lift lines.
- Assist guests throughout the day.
- Make sure that guests leave the resort with a good last impression, even if it’s just by smiling and saying thank you.
- Assist with events or help resort staff when necessary.
As an ambassador for King Pine and Purity Spring, your job is to be sure that our guests have the best experience possible!
