13th Annual Marky B Boardfest: Most Unique Snowboard-Only Event in Region
KING PINE SNOWBOARDERS COMPETE AT NATIONALS MARCH 31-APRIL 5
MADISON, NH – Erin Curran and Paige Sherwood of the King Pine Snowboard Team will be competing in the United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) National Championships. The USASA National Championships will be taking place March 31 - April 5th at Copper Mountain in Colorado.

East Madison, NH (February 1, 2012) – The King Pine Ski & Snowboard School at King Pine Ski Area in East Madison, NH, is offering a seasonal program for active adult intermediate skiers. With a focus on camaraderie, Mt. Washington Valley veteran ski instructor Bob Vadeboncoeur, aka Bobby V., will guide the group through an exploration of all things skiing.

KING PINE TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS
East Madison, NH (November 15, 2011) – King Pine Ski Area at Purity Spring Resort is projected to open for its 50th season on December 9, 2011. The family-oriented ski resort, located in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, is just 15 minutes south of North Conway, NH and has been owned and operated by the Hoyt family since 1962.

KING PINE SWITCHES FROM DIESEL TO ELECTRIC AND INCREASES SNOWMAKING CAPACITY BY 50%

East Madison, NH (November 15, 2011) – King Pine Ski Area at Purity Spring Resort is projected to open for its 50th season on December 9, 2011 with new family events and added value for guests. A portion of the days’ proceeds will go to The Laura Foundation for Autism and Epilepsy.

East Madison, NH (November 15, 2011) – January is Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month across the country and King Pine Ski Resort of East Madison, NH will be celebrating with great deals and programs for first-timers new to winter snow sports. This national program encourages first-timers new to skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to get out and experience what winter in New Hampshire has to offer. King Pine will be offering three separate opportunities for first-timers to learn a snow sport in January.

East Madison, NH (November 15, 2011) – King Pine Ski Area at Purity Spring Resort will offer its 74th Ski and Snowboard Camp this February and March 2012 for boys and girls. The Ski & Snowboard Camp offers an exciting atmosphere for “ski campers” age 8-16 and provides the opportunity to learn to ski or ride in a safe and family-friendly atmosphere. Held during the February President’s Day school vacation week, February 20-26, and the NH school vacation week, February 26-March 2, 2012, the camp continues a tradition that began long ago at Purity Spring Resort.
