Knee-Hi Seasonal Program - Ages 4-7

Using entertaining tasks and games, our Knee-Hi kids learn by playing! From first time skiers through all-mountain rippers, our unique approach encourages skill development at all levels.

Our groups average a student-instructor ratio of 4:1, and beginner Knee-Hi groups use an innovative team teaching method utilizing our state-of-the-art learning facility and gentle incremental terrain progression for quick and fun learning.

 

Program Times and Dates

The Knee-Hi Weekday program (10 weeks) - begins on Tuesday, January 7 and runs through Thursday, March 20, 2014 (n/a 2/18 or 2/20/14). Tuesdays or Thursdays at 10am-Noon or 1:30pm-3:30pm.

The Knee-Hi Weekend program (10 weeks) - begins on Sunday, January 5 and runs through Sunday, March 16 (n/a 2/16/14). Sundays at Noon-2pm.

King Pine Team Ski and Team Ride

This is a season-long program with instruction in bumps, terrain park, trees, synchronized skiing, ski/snowboard games and running gates. Interested participants must be comfortable skiing or riding on intermediate trails and self-sufficient chairlift riders.


 

Program Times and Dates:

Program runs Saturdays, Sundays and during holiday Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12-2pm. 
Two days per week - offered from 12/27/13 - 3/9/14


 

Program Fees:

Team Ski (ages 6-12) / Team Ride (ages 8-12)
Two days per week - Saturday AND Sunday $339 / Season
One day per week - Saturday OR Sunday $249 / Season

King Pine Pre-Race Program - Ages 6-7

King Pine is offering a weekend training program for skiers ages 6-7 interested in racing but looking for a transitional program before joining the King Pine Race Team.

This is a season-long program with instruction in competition skill development, running gates, bump skiing, tree skiing, and of course an emphasis of having fun on skis. Pre-Race skiers will participate in fun races at various mountains in the Mt. Washington Valley throughout the season.

 

Training Times and Dates:

Saturdays, 9AM - 2:30PM and Sundays, 11AM - 3PM, (beginning 12/15/12 and ending in 3/3/13)

 

Pre-Race Fees:

$475/season + season pass

Please note that a King Pine season pass or lift ticket are not included in this rate. Participants do not need a lift ticket or pass during team trainings at King Pine, though purchasing a season pass is recommended.

An appropriate signed Release of Liability, registration form, and payment must be submitted and placed before participants will be allowed to participate in team trainings and activities.

King Pine Race Team - Ages 8-15

King Pine sponsors a weekend training program for skiers ages 8-15, who are dedicated to improving their alpine skiing and racing skills. Skiers compete in USSA races sponsored by NHARA (New Hampshire Alpine Racing Association www.nhara.org) based on age and ability.

New race team participants must email Ski School Director Craig Niiler prior to sign up.

Race Team Fees:

  • U10 Level: $625/season + season pass
  • U12 & U14 Levels: $650/season + season pass
  • U16 Level: $675/season + season pass

Please note that USSA and NHARA dues, competition entry fees, and a King Pine season pass are not included in this rate. Participants do need a season pass during team trainings at King Pine. An appropriate signed Release of Liability, registration form, and payment must be submitted and placed before participants will be allowed to participate in team trainings and activities.

The Pioneer Race Series @ King Pine

The Pioneer Race Series is for any group of 5-12 skiers who enjoy lighthearted competition, fun apres-ski parties at the Trail's End Tavern and lots of great giveaways!

Individual participants will be matched up with others to form teams. Presented by Coors Light, Mountain Dew and the Conway Daily Sun.

How to Get Involved

Any group of 5-12 skiers, snowboarders, or telemark skiers of any ability may form a team. Individuals may also register and will be placed on a team.

When It Happens

Mondays, starting January 6, 2014 (except 1/20 and 2/17) - March 17, 2014
Pioneer racers can ski and ride all day, and the Pioneer course is open from Noon - 4 PM. Timed runs for adults begin at Noon, racers under 21 begin at 1 PM.

 

Registration Fees

The cost for the entire season of Pioneer racing is just $80 for an individual or $900 for a team of 12 ($75/person, paid with one check). King Pine season pass holders are just $50 each.

Add more value by registering your team early to ski FREE on Monday December 16th and Monday, December 23rd prior to start of the Pioneer Race season (Monday, January 6).

Series Grand Prizes

The winning team will be treated to a party suite for 12 people at the Verizon Wireless arena for a Manchester Monarchs AHL hockey game! And back by popular demand, one lucky Pioneer participant will win a pair of tickets to the July NASCAR Nextel Cup race at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, NH.
 Recreational Racing Saturday nights free racing from 6-8pm. The course will also be available for practice runs most Sundays from 1-4pm - pay per run. On Saturday, March 22nd, Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge will be at King Pine. This is a non-race day due to the MLK Jr. holiday. Pioneer racers are invited to participate. The MDVC race is FREE, but you must purchase a lift ticket to participate. Tons of great prizes, giveaways and free samples all day long!
