King Pine COVID-19 Updates

Posted On
Mar 13 2020

To our guests, customers and staff members, as efforts to stem the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 remain a dynamic and fluid ongoing story, the Hoyt Family businesses including King Pine Ski Area and Purity Spring Resort are, like you, monitoring updates and guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention along with state and local health authorities.

We remain operating as scheduled and are committed to providing a safe and fun experience for our guests. We have always maintained and have recently raised ongoing protocol for regular facilities cleaning, especially on high-touch surfaces, provided hand sanitizing stations, requiring employees to wash hands always and reminding employees to be cognizant of and to stay home when they may show any symptoms of a contagious illness.

We hope too that our guests will work with us helping to maintain a courteous level of "social distancing" from others, performing recommended hygiene/hand-washing and to be responsible if they should not feel well to stay home. We also appreciate your understanding as operational changes occur as necessary.

The following events have been canceled and we will keep you posted with any other updates as we continue to make decisions on a daily basis regarding operations and other future scheduled events:

  • March 13-14: Cynthia's Challenge 24-hour Ski-A-Thon - View Statement
  • March 14: Vertical Challenge

We will continue to do our best to provide updates in a timely manner about our resort operations as efforts globally to avoid the further spread of COVID-19 remain a priority.

Any changes or updates will be posted here moving forward.
