Snow No Limits

Since 1993, Granite State Adaptive, a 501 (c)3 non-profit, has been providing adaptive sports opportunities on the slopes of King Pine. Their all-ages snowsports program is designed to help participants gain confidence, fitness and independence. It’s run by a committed staff of volunteers who have seen countless success stories among children and adults alike. Their season runs from December through the third week of March. And they offer private lessons and group programs throughout. They serve children with disabilities who ski and attend the following schools: Tuftonboro, Crescent Lake, Ossipee, Madison, Freedom, Brett School, Oyster River, New Durham, Effingham and Inter-Lakes. And they provide a wide range of adaptive ski equipment, including mono ski, bi ski, dual ski, outriggers, slider gliders, two tracks and miscellaneous tools of the trade. Because skiers are like snowflakes—no two are exactly alike.
