Hone and Own Your Skills

Group lessons at King Pine is the way to go for those just starting out and looking for superior value! And since they can accommodate all ability levels and all skiers and snowboarders starting at ages 4 and up, they’ll feel like a great fit for everyone else in your party too. These lessons sometimes sell out, so we highly recommend reserving yours at least 24 hours in advance.

Knee-Hi Group Lesson

For Ages 4-6+ • Ski Only

At King Pine we recognize young children learn differently and develop at different ages and stages. This 1.5 lesson hour is designed exactly for the needs of our younger guests. Our instructors use play, movement, and gentle terrain to help kids build confidence and develop skills and coordination on snow.

Lesson Only: $89
Lessons + Rental Equipment + Surface Lift Ticket: $123

What to Expect

A fun, supportive lesson in a safe lesson-only area.
Play, drill, and adventure to enable age-appropriate skill development.
Attentive Instructors, trained to teach young children.
Small group sizes to assist with progression.

Young (ages 4-6) beginners who are suited to a gentle pace with a safe and playful approach to learning.

Please arrive 10 minutes early.

Two Hour Group Lesson

For Ages 7+ • Ski or Snowboard

King Pine’s signature 2-hour group lesson is the perfect way to start skiing or riding. Designed for first timers and beginner to intermediate guests, this lesson focuses on developing core skills, safety, and confidence building in a fun, learner friendly environment.

Lesson Only: $89
Lesson + Rental Equipment + Surface Lift Ticket:
Adult & Teen (13+) – $133
Junior (7-12) – $123

What to Expect

A 2-hour lesson with a trained instructor.
Small groups to support safety and learning.
Skill development on dedicated beginner terrain.
A relaxed pace focused on building confidence, skill and progression.

First-timers, beginners, and anyone wanting a fun, structured and great-value lesson with peers at a similar level.
