At King Pine, kids as young as 3 can learn to snowboard or ski.
Whether it’s your child’s first time on skis or their 50th, the instructors at King Pine can help them hone their skills and grow their confidence in the process. Since our children’s lessons are popular, we highly recommend reserving your lesson at least 24 hours in advance.
Created for first-timers, this package includes a lesson, rental equipment (helmet not included) and full day beginner-area lift ticket. Our trained instructors will ensure a positive learning experience that builds your child’s confidence and skills.
This one-and-a-half-hour lesson takes place on surface lifts only and is designed for first-timers. Lessons are offered at 9:30, 11:30 and 1:30 on weekends and during Christmas and February holiday weeks and at 11:00 on weekdays.
We recommend guests arrive at the mountain at least 2 hours prior to their lesson time when purchasing rental equipment. It is best to book your lessons at least 48 hours in advance.
This package program is intended for the first-timer, beginner only as a one-time experience and should not be purchased more than once for an individual. To progress as a skier or snowboarder after this first-time lesson, please consider reserving a private lesson.
Offered for age 4 and up and all ability levels, our private lessons provide one-on-one attention tailored to your specific needs.
Private lessons are sold by the hour and are available for ages 4 and older. Each private lesson can accommodate up to three people for an additional fee per person. For the best experience it is strongly recommended that all participants in the lesson are of similar age and learning capacity. Semi Private for two people is $215. Semi Private for three people is $285.
Please note that the program does not include lift access or rental equipment. A ticket or seasons pass will be required by all participants and must be purchased in addition to the cost of the program. We ask that you arrive at least 1-hour prior to your lesson time in order to allow for necessary check-in and rental fitting (if needed) time allowance.
