The King Pine rental shop has begun a massive sale of their entire ski and snowboard inventory to make room for a new rental fleet with some great deals to be found on full ski & snowboard package set-ups and individual items for your winter fun needs. A bit of fall color showing on the trees on this beautiful day for our lift maintenance crew to be getting the Polar Bear lift ready for the upcoming season. They are working hard to be sure it's in great shape for the season ahead because it will be spinning longer daily as we have made the decision for our hours of operation this season to be open every day until 6 p.m.! Midweek (non-holiday) we'll open lifts at 9 a.m. and weekends/holiday periods we'll open at 8:30 a.m. Yes, that means we will not be open until 9 p.m.

We are already working and planning to begin our snowmaking efforts in a timely manner to ideally open for the 2020/21 season sometime mid-December as we have done annually, but certainly we are anticipating the upcoming ski season to be unique.

With national and regional efforts to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 remaining at heightened levels, we have made the decision to end our ski season two weeks earlier than we had originally planned and we will be closed for the season at the end of business today, Sunday, March 15.

East Madison, N.H. (January 11, 2020): King Pine Ski Area has been recognized among New Hampshire’s best in a recent WMUR “Viewer’s Choice 2020” Facebook poll. On Friday, January 10, King Pine Ski Area was listed as number two among the top five “Best Ski Areas” according to viewers of WMUR. In weekly posts, WMUR viewers and Facebook followers are asked to comment and indicate in their opinion the best in New Hampshire for whatever category should be chosen that week.
