King Pine Snow Conditions and Winter Activity Report

Last Updated: Sunday, January 22, 2017 - 7:30 a.m.

TODAY'S HOURS: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

COMMENTS: Happy Sunday Funday, we remain 100% open providing skiing and riding for all abilities and Sunday afternoon lift tickets are only $29 adults, $19 juniors/seniors! You can plan on all 6 lifts scheduled servicing 17 trails and the tubing park. Groomers are out nightly producing the best snow surfaces possible laying down, soft corduroy on all 17 trails. With a deep base out there, you can expect a mix of machine-groomed loose and frozen granular that will begin the day on the firm side and softening with rising temps. Caution is advised approaching un-groomed terrain or tree skiing areas and we're already looking forward to more natural snow in the forecast for Monday in to Tuesday morning. The Twisted Pine Terrain Park currently has 9 small to medium features including 7 rail/box elements, 2 jumps and more details can be seen on the Twisted Pine Terrain Park page. The Pine Meadows Tubing Park and Tohko Dome Ice Skating Rink are scheduled to be open and the Purity Spring Resort XC & Snowshoe Reserve is offering a 20+km network of skate and track machine-groomed surfaces with 6-10" base depth as well as snowshoe trails.

Take advantage of our ski school services daily including children's programs, private lessons and the area's best Learn to Ski & Snowboard programs including a "first-time" $39 January special that includes lift ticket, lesson and rental (some restrictions apply, see additional details). Our rental shop is here to provide you all the skiing, snowboarding, nordic, snowshoeing and ice-skating equipment you may need and our tune shop is ready to keep the gear you own sharp and in top shape.
